about

AMEE SEVERSON (she/they) is a Registered Dietitian who has experience in eating disorders, disordered eating, diabetes management, trauma-informed medical nutrition therapy, and dancer nutrition. Amee focuses on providing safe and inclusive care for the LGBTQ+ community. They love to work with folks who want to heal their relationship with food and learn how to trust their bodies. Amee also loves to work with dancers in all sizes and shapes of bodies who want to fuel their bodies and prevent eating disorders.

Amee encourages the belief that food can be enjoyed without guilt or shame. She believes that recovery from disordered eating is possible for everyone and that every person deserves to feel trust in their body. Amee doesn’t believe in one-size-fits-all nutrition and health, so they work with clients to make health and nutrition fit into their current life, not the other way around. Their work is trauma-informed and utilizes a Health at Every Size (HAES) lens.

She holds a Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition from Montana State University, a Masters Degree in Professional Practice from Iowa State University, is a dietitian registered in the State of Washington, a Certified Body Trust Provider, and is a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor. Amee is also a Certified Sexuality Counselor. Amee is the co-author of How to Raise an Intuitive Eater.

Amee can often be found attempting to bake fancy things, reading fantasy, supporting her kid while she dances, playing and cuddling with her horde of animals, or playing video games with their family. Amee identifies as a queer and nonbinary.

CAITY ROBINSON (she/her) is an anti-diet registered dietitian whose work focuses on providing compassionate nutrition counseling from a Health at Every Size (HAES) and social justice lens.

With extensive training in the field of nutrition, Caity understands that food is just one piece of the puzzle when we discuss health, and yet many of our beliefs around health have been through toxic messages and false narratives dispersed by diet culture. When we begin to see all the ways we have been oppressed, we can start to break those external narratives and focus on our inner values. If you no longer needed to apologize or feel shame for what you eat and how you show up in this world, what would you want to do? What could you accomplish? Caity is dedicated to helping you find freedom with food, explore how you define personal health, and focus on your authentic self.

Caity also likes to bring humor and connection to every interaction she has, whether it is with a client, a colleague, or a stranger at the grocery store. She also brings empathy and understanding into her work; Caity got into the field of nutrition from her own disordered relationship with food and exercise. She knows it can be a difficult and irregular journey to heal your relationship with food, exercise, and your own body. Her history has only ignited her passion for appropriate sports nutrition counseling and working with folks in healing their relationship with movement and exercise.

Caity holds a master’s degree in Public Health – Nutrition from the University of Washington’s School of Public Health, she is a dietitian licensed in Washington and New Mexico, and has experience working with eating disorder patients in higher levels of care. During her master’s program, Caity was nominated by her cohort to receive the Carrie Cheney Student Leadership award for her advocacy of HAES, fat positivity, and gender-affirming care. She also has advanced leadership training after completing a nine-month LEAH fellowship (Leadership Education in Adolescent Health) through UW and Seattle Children’s Hospital, which included both didactic and clinical training in adolescent health.

Outside of work Caity enjoys listening to audiobooks, baking cookies, and finding new ways to explore joyful movement – her current favorites are mountain biking and walking around the dog park with her adopted pups Benny and Lottie.

CELESTE KAHN’s (she/her) work as an anti-diet Registered Dietitian is focused on providing a Health At Every Size (HAES) centered space where she can meet you with compassion and understanding. Her goal is to help guide your journey toward food freedom and body positivity.

Food can and should be joyful. We are all born intuitive eaters, but all too often our diet-focused culture turns this joy into shame and guilt. It’s time we acknowledge that dieting does more harm than good, explore how diet culture has held us back, and re-define our ideas of health.

Celeste holds a Masters degree in Nutrition from Bastyr University, and a Bachelors degree in Community Health Education from Western Washington University. Celeste is licensed as an RD in the State of Washington and becoming a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor is currently in the works.

Outside of work, Celeste’s main hobby seems to be collecting new hobbies. She enjoys finding ways to get outside, such as hiking, backpacking, fly fishing, and mushroom hunting. She also loves tapping into her crafty side, and is often working on a creative project on the sewing machine, carving handmade stamps, or trying her hand at watercolors. In the kitchen, her favorite thing to make is homemade ice cream, and is always looking for new flavor combo ideas!
